This year's 5k run and 3k walk were once again a huge success. The weather was picture perfect and comfortably cool--perfect for running, relaxing, and eating!
We were privileged to have the Republican candidate for Porter County Sheriff, Mike Brickner, with us to start the race. Mr. Brickner has been the Chief of Police for the Valparaiso Police Department for 11 years.
After the race, the children's bicycle parade began, the delicious food at the "Taste of Fairhaven" was served, and plenty of fun games were enjoyed (baseball, big-ball volleyball, ball dunk, etc.). From start to finish....all in attendance agreed it was a great day!
